Performance coaching for men
For men who carry a lot and want to carry it better.
This is for men somewhere between 30 and 50 who have built something: a business, a career, a family, a reputation. From the outside it looks like it is working. On the inside you are tired, stretched thin, running on stress, and not as sharp as you used to be.
Performance coaching is how you get the edge back. We work on how you think under pressure, how you recover, how you handle stress at work and at home, and, when you want it, how you train and eat. One coach in your corner for all of it.

What we work on
There is no set curriculum. We start with what matters most in your life right now. These are common starting points.
- Focus and decisions when the stakes are high
- Stress that follows you home
- Sleep, energy and recovery
- Confidence and presence in the room
- Breathwork to settle your nervous system before a big moment
- Training and nutrition that fit a real schedule
- Being present with your partner and your kids
- Purpose and direction after the first big goals are met
Trained in pro sport. Built for everyday pressure.
I have spent more than 20 years coaching people to perform: strength and conditioning at Harvard University and the University of Miami, Director of Strength and Conditioning at Middlesex School, and performance coaching for the San Jose Sharks organization, the LA Kings organization, and Team USA Roller Hockey.
The tools that help a professional hockey player bring his heart rate down between shifts are the same tools that help you walk into a board meeting calm, or come home after a hard day and actually be there. Pressure is pressure.
How it works
Coaching is online, by phone and FaceTime, with messaging in between. You get a coaching app with your practices, your workouts and your nutrition. You choose the level of support, from programming only up to a call every week, at $100 to $500 a month.
From people who perform for a living
Not only is Miles my husband, but he’s been my performance coach for over a decade. He trained me to get physically fit when I was playing professional hockey, has taught and guided me through many breathing practices that help me before I go on-air with ESPN and Amazon Prime, has worked with multiple teams I’ve played or coached for, and is a constant source of grounding wisdom and uplifting optimism for all of those he coaches and interacts with. I cannot recommend him enough to you.

Miles significantly enhanced my game in ways I did not know existed. I found learning about the alpha state particularly valuable, as it greatly improved my mental preparation before games. The most beneficial was understanding nasal breathing techniques, which helped me lower my heart rate after a long shift, allowing me to feel more recovered and ready for the next one.

I’ve been working with Miles for the past 2 months and every time I leave our sessions I feel inspired, excited, and most importantly equipped to tackle the various challenges which arise throughout my journey. Miles is incredibly caring and passionate about helping me, and so many others, reach my goals. Every session, we are continually building towards my next level through tangible tools and nuggets of gold. He meets you where you are and helps to find what works best for you! He is truly one of the best coaches, mentors and performance coaches that I have worked with during my whole career. I can’t recommend him enough! I have already grown so much with him and can’t wait to see what my future holds as we continue to work together!
