What performance coaching actually looks like, week to week
Miles Bolden ·
People hear coaching and picture an hour-long motivational talk. It is quieter than that, and most of it happens between calls.
The calls
Depending on your level, we talk once a month, twice a month or every week, for 60 minutes by phone or FaceTime. We slow down, talk about what is actually going on, and decide what to work on next. On the higher levels, calls include guided breathwork and meditation.
The days in between
This is where most of the work happens. You can message me with questions, wins, setbacks and decisions as they come up. You do not have to save it for the next call.
Your coaching app holds your practices: guided meditation and breathwork, your workouts with video demonstrations, and nutrition tracking if you use it. The goal is that on any given day you know what you are doing and why.
The first month
The first weeks are about getting to know you: your work, your family, your training history, how you sleep, what stresses you, and what you want. From there we pick two or three things to start with. Often one is mental, like how you handle pressure, and one is physical, like sleep or training. We build the practices, then adjust as we learn what works for you.
Picking a level
The levels differ mostly in how much time we spend together. Custom Programming is the app, your programming and messaging, with one introductory call. Foundation Coaching adds a monthly call and the meditation and breathwork side. Signature Coaching is two calls a month. Executive Coaching is four, with custom meditations and priority messaging.
